Counselling Services

If you have a question about counselling or how Grow Gently Counselling can help you, you might find it below:

  • I'M LOOKING FOR A THERAPIST, WHERE DO I START?
Starting your therapy journey can be a pretty difficult process (we totally get it!). Despite this, finding the right therapist fit can be incredibly rewarding. At Grow Gently Counselling, we prioritise your goals, wants and needs for therapy to ensure we find the right approach and style for you. We recognise that we may not be the right fit for absolutely everybody; if this is the case we will work with you to identify a therapist or service that is right for you.
  • BOOKING YOUR FIRST APPOINTMENT
Starting is as easy as sending us a message or giving us a call. We are more than happy to help!
  • WHAT ARE YOUR FEES?
Our fees vary depending on the service you require. We accept payments made by external third party payments, NDIS (self and plan managed) and private paying individuals. Please see the fee's page for more information or contact us for a tailored quote.
  • WHY IS THERAPY SO EXPENSIVE?
Fees are also a reflection of the skills and knowledge of clinicians. This incorporates the cost of yearly professional membership, professional indemnity insurance, continuous professional development, supervision, superannuation and day to day running costs. Our fees remain well below the current AASW national recommended fee for Social Workers.
  • I STILL HAVE QUESTIONS
No worries! Contact us here and we will be happy to answer any questions you have.

Acknowledgment of Country

Grow Gently Counselling acknowledges the Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung people of the Kulin Nation, who are the Traditional Owners of the land on which we live and work, and pay our respects to Elders past and present.

Sovereignty has never been ceded. Always was, always will be, Aboriginal land.

Grow Gently Counselling recognises the past atrocities Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples faced. Australia was founded on the genocide and dispossession of First Nations people, and colonial structures and policies remain in place with ongoing detrimental impacts.
